TechTools Quickwriter®

4_402s pictureQuickwriter from Tech-Tools is a high end, production capable PIC programmer. QuickWriter offers a large set of features for a comparatively low price that is unmatched in the industry. These features include:

Programs up to 4 devices as quickly as a single device when using the optional Gang adapter. Supports In-Circuit Programming with the included cable. Auto incrementing serial numbers in Code or Data locations. Supports existing programming adapters. Select from 1 to 4 devices on Gang adapters. Reports individual failures when programming multiple devices. Enable/Disable each programmable area of the MCU. Select manual programming tasks or "Auto Run". "Control Mode" file support for achiving and production purposes. Serial communication port connectivity. File editing/saving/loading. EEPROM / Calibration editing. FLASH firmware updates as they are released from the TechTools web site.

The programmer runs from the serial port on the PC and the supplied software runs under ALL Window operating systems. A wide variety of add-on programming sockets is available for all pin and package configurations. Note that the Quick writer requires the use of a chip adapter (supplied separately)

TechTools' DigiView: Logic Analyzer with data compression

4_402s pictureDigiView™, TechTools' new 18 channel, 100 MHz Logic Analyzer is a professional quality, highly portable instrument. DigiView uses a deep data buffer (132,000 samples) plus real-time, hardware based compression to ensure long capture periods. DigiView ALWAYS samples at 10ns and benefits from compression anytime the data lines are all stable for 20ns or more. Depending on the sparseness of the data, DigiView can capture up to 5 minutes of data at 10ns resolution.

Hardware Features: · 18 Channels · USB interface and power source for portability · Real time Hardware Compression. · Eliminates Resolution vs. Depth trade-offs. · Compression Ratio up to 256,000:1 depending on activity. · Trigger on rising, falling or transition of any channel. · Multi-channel High, low and don’t care trigger qualifier. · Pre-trigger and post-trigger data capture. Software Features: · Add descriptive signal identifiers. · Signal grouping for bus identification and values. · Save/load data and settings for later analysis. · Graphical waveform display with Zoom and Scroll. · Auto-snap & repeat cursor functions · Software runs under Win ‘9X/NT/2000/ME/XP

System Contents: DigiView, USB cable, Data connection header, 20 probes, PC software and manual on CD-ROM.
